Site of the week #12

site of the week 12
There is not much I can say about this site... translators didn't make much sense. The best I can figure, it's a camping directory for the Maibeek area of the Netherlands, but I really can't be sure. Anyone who knows can post a comment with more description. Or go to Camping de Maibeek for more information.

New RapidWeaver resource launched today

rw-updates-09-24-07
A new site by seyDoggy called RW Updates has been launched today. The site, a daily digest of RapidWeaver developer news, is aimed at power RapidWeaver users looking to cut to the chase and get development news on theme and plugin updates, new products, new snippets and new smart blocks right from the developers mouths.

RW Updates allows visitor to quickly skim through what's been posted by their favorite RapidWeaver developers, Realmac Software and also the Add-ons section of the Realmac Software site without having to wade through countless forum posts, countless feeds and surf countless sites. RW Updates gives you a light recap of what's new, quick and easy.

Something wicked this way comes

new RapidWeaver resource coming soon
There is a new RapidWeaver resource on the horizon, one that will make many power RapidWeaver users happy. seyDoggy saw a need for some "consolidation" in the information streams in order for RapidWeaver users to keep up to speed with what is going on in the RapidWeaver community. This consolidation process has led to some neat new technologies that we have released here recently, that were a byproduct of what seyDoggy had going on in the background. Look for an official announcement later today.

Showcasing the Showcasers

Here is a novel concept; it's a new css showcase site, sort of, a little tongue in check though:"Most of their names can be resumed to "CSS" followed by another word that smells tasty, it's kind of confusing I think. So why not showcase these showcases?"

New feed

We have updated our RSS feed over to Feedburner. If you are currently subscribed to our old feed URL, it will still work (I think) but it would be very helpful to us if you moved over and subscribed to our new RSS feed. Thank you very much.

badNas for RapidWeaver 3.6 is coming soon!

Many have been asking and many have been waiting very patiently for the update of badNas to RapidWeaver 3.6 standards. Well the wait is almost over. I have been squeezing in a little work here and there on it during little breaks from custom themes and sites. I am almost complete and am just waiting to finish the demo site and some theme styles etc... so it won't be long now. Thanks for your patience!

Site of the week #11

site of the week 11
Yes I am aware that I am a full week late on this installment. My apologies. This weeks site comes to us from Albert Kinng, renowned DJ of Mega 98.1 FM WNUE, Orlando's #1 Hispanic Radio Station, and author of his own personal site AlbertKinng.com which uses our Tuo RapidWeaver theme. Now truth be told, I can't actually read a word on his site but it does look like fun with some fun videos and what not. Take a trip over to AlbertKinng.com and see for yourself.

Show Recent Posts 2, a RapidWeaver snippet

RapidWeaver snippet
The "Show Recent Posts 2" snippet is a cute little implementation of SimplePie RSS parser designed with RapidWeaver in mind. "Show Recent Posts 2" allows you to do just that, show your most recent blog posts on any other page (aside from you blog page of course), while maintaining some of your blogs original formating. This version also includes the function for controlling the length of the posts. "Show Recent Posts 2" can be used in your main content area, in your sidebar, or where ever you think it would fit.

Our RapidWeaver Snippet, "Show Recent Posts" has been updated

snippets
After a lengthy walk through with a fellow RapidWeaver user trying to set up a site our recent RapidWeaver snippet, "Show Recent Posts", it became painfully clear to me that I take a great deal of web stuff for granted. So I have modified the commenting in the code snippet to answer a few good questions you might have and I have also modified the README file to reflect those new instructions. The code has stayed the same, just the instructions have improved.

I love E-Junkie!

Picture%205

There is seriously no better service out there for shopping cart functions the E-Junkie. They improve the features on an ongoing and regular basis. The customer service is incredible and the perks for your loyalty are fantastic.

If you doubt E-Junkies appeal, just take a look at the web celebs that E-Junkie can boast as their clients (not to mention all of the familiar faces from around RapidWeaver).
